Welcome to the RailTopoModel Wiki. / Willkommen im RailTopoModel Wiki. / Bienvenue au Wiki du RailTopoModel.

The RailTopoModel (RTM) is a logical object model that has been designed to standardize the representation of railway infrastructure-related data. Due to its generic character the RTM can be applied to many different use cases in the railway domain. The RTM is defined as International Railway Standard IRS 30100, which is published by UIC. For more information on the IRS 30100 and the current state of the RTM project, please visit the project website www.railtopomodel.org.

This wiki has been set up to enhance the documentation of the RTM and provide additional information in particular about the practical usage of the data model in the railway domain. It addresses all the relevant different stakeholders by providing business-oriented introductory information as well as detailed modelling concept issues and application examples.
